HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Building Owners and Managers Association has announced its endorsement of Sandie Mullins Moger in the open seat race for Houston City Council, District G.

“The members of the Houston Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) were impressed with Sandie’s understanding of the challenges facing Houstonians today. They also appreciated her ability and willingness to work with all stakeholders in the community to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Houston city government,” said Tammy Betancourt, BOMA Executive Vice President and COO.
“I am humbled and honored to receive the endorsement from Houston’s premier commercial real estate association, the Houston Building Owners and Managers Association Commercial real estate is an integral part of our city’s economy and as your next City Council Member from District G, I will fight to keep government out of their way,” said Mullins Moger. “Thank you, BOMA, for your endorsement and the confidence in me to represent you at City Hall.”

Sandie Mullins Moger grew up in District G and has raised her family, owned a business and been a longtime respected community leader in District G. Mullins Moger currently represents much of the District G area as Trustee for Houston Community College. In 2010, Mullins Moger co-founded Super Neighborhood 17 and served as its President. Mullins Moger was Co-Chair of Houston West Chamber of Commerce Business & Education Committee and a Member of many HWCC Committees. Houston West Chamber of Commerce honored Mullins Moger as the 2008 Volunteer of the Year. She also was a Member of the Board of Directors for West Houston Medical Center. Mullins Moger has been politically active as a former Daughters of Liberty Republican Women President, an active member with Village Republican Women and Ronald Reagan Republican Women and an Election Judge. Mullins Moger received her MBA from St. Mary’s University and her B.S. from Texas A&M. Mullins Moger is married to Charlie Moger and, together, they have six children.
